SAP Leonardo Center showcases SAP Leonardo with IoT, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Big Data, Analytics, Data Intelligence and SAP Cloud Platform as key ingredients for digital transformation, making "digital" tangible and provides a space for innovation to jointly explore the digital future.

Hasso Plattner Institute is Germany's University Excellence Center for Digital Engineering. The New York office enhances HPI's global outreach through a variety of activities, including conferences, symposia, panel discussions, workshops as well as the establishment of strategic partnerships in academia and industry.

AppHaus is a creative space run by SAP helping to humanize business software and ensuring that innovation gets into the hands of people. The goal of the AppHaus community is to put the end user into the center of all engagements leveraging SAP products and technologies.

SAP.iO Foundries are SAP's global network of top-tier startup programs, including accelerators, that enable startups to build innovative software that deliver value for SAP customers. The New York cohort focuses on the sustainability startup community.

The Female Quotient is advancing equality in the workplace through collaboration, activating solutions for change, and creating measurements for accountability. A FQ Lounge as well as the FQ New York team are located in our space.
During the daytime, we welcome SAP customers and SAP Next-Gen partners to use our open innovation space for thought leadership bootcamps, salons and meetups. After 5PM we open the doors to purpose-driven meetups and organizations that drive thought leadership in areas such as exponential technologies, equality, sustainability, entrepreneurship and more.

We connect companies and citizen to the latest innovation methodologies, including exponential thinking, science fiction thinking, purpose thinking, Next-Gen change management and design thinking.

We connect industries, academia and citizen to the latest technologies including SAP Leonardo offerings: machine learning, Blockchain, data intelligence, big data, internet of things, analytics, as well as other exponential technologies such as AR/VR, enterprise apps, drones and robotics.

We connect leading industries, such as fashion, automotive, life science, banking, media, high tech, future cities, healthcare and many more.
Our open innovation space offers a variety of spaces and settings where you can host your purpose-driven event based on your needs.
House Rules
We require all events to comply with our house rules. Please review them prior to requesting your event.
Our space is a do-it-yourself open innovation space. Budget time and staff to set up in the beginning, clean up at the end and other logistical needs. Always leave the space the same as you find it when you come early to set up for your event.
Be respectful of the offices and other events and innovation tours in the space. Please also clean up garbage and supplies you use as you go about your day.
Please note the capacity limits of the space for fire safety limits (139) and for events after 5pm (75). Do not exceed these limits without additional approval.
SAP is proud to be a purpose driven company, and we encourage action and conversation around the topic. At the same time, we maintain political neutrality, so we ask that you refrain from any display of political commentary while hosting events in the space.
Since we do not charge, our space falls under an in-kind donation, and we cannot host revenue generating events such as fundraisers or ticketed events that generate moneys greater than costs associated with the event without special approval.
Please check-in and check-out with the Next-Gen lead for your event. We can guide you on how to both properly set up for your event and put everything back in the proper place at the end.

For non-SAP events: We ask external teams to add this note to their sign-up page: "By registering, you agree that your personal data may be shared with SAP for the limited purpose of facilitating your security check in for the event."
We ask all organizers to sign our SAP Next-Gen partnership agreement once their event has been approved. Your SAP Next-Gen lead will provide you with the documentation and guide you through the process after you have submitted your event.
Whether you are planning a small breakfast or an upscale luncheon: our partners offer you a wide range of options.

From self-catering to our in-house caterer Eurest or a caterer of your choice; you have all the possibilities. Please always make sure to inquire with any caterer yourself and discuss your requirements.

Eurest ist licensed to serve food and alcoholic beverages in our space. Eurest offers a wide selection of catering options.

External Caterers
With additional logistical steps, external caterers may be used. Please inquire with your event leads before booking your catering. The additional logistical steps may take over two weeks to complete.
You may choose to bring drinks*, light snacks and prepared food to our space.

*Be advised that alcoholic beverages must be served by an SAP approved vendor. For New York, Eurest fulfills this requirement.
Our open innovation space offers you versatile setup options with different kinds of chairs, stools and tables.
Our equipment is fully (re-)movable, so feel free to use our space the way it best fits the needs of your event. Our space is a do-it-yourself space though; please budget time and staff for setup, reset and cleanup. If you require additional equipment, you may want to inquire with outside vendors.

Rentals Both Party Rental Ltd. and Big Dawg Party Rental are registered outside vendors that offer furniture and equipment rental and have been approved to access our facilities.
AV Equipment
We are equipped with professional audio systems and have industry-grade projection and display capabilities.
We can support you with realizing your AV needs for your event using our available equipment. Keep in mind that we're not AV experts; if you've elevated requirements, you may want to bring in an external expert or additional equipment.

Surface Hub 85" monitor, with built-in WIN10 computer, can show most media files* (e.g. ppt, images, videos), HDMI port (miniDP, DP, Lightning to HDMI adapter available), presentation remote ("clicker")

Monitors 2 55" monitors, HDMI port (miniDP, DP, Lightning to HDMI adapter available), can show images from an USB-stick (type A)

*Please be kindly reminded that you may be required to obtain a PPL (public performance license) to play audio or video content to your audience.

Confirmation, Regrets or Follow up
The process to decide on event requests involves multiple steps and stakeholder. Please allow us up to 2 weeks to decide on your request. Your SAP Next-Gen lead may follow up on details of your request.

Coordination & Questions
Once your event request has been confirmed, you will be given a personal contact from the SAP Next-Gen team who will help you answer your questions and coordinate the details of your event. We know some things are better seen in person: just ask us for a space walk-through.

Submit your guest list
All guests who do not have regular access to 10 Hudson Yards, must be registered with building security prior to your event. Please submit your guest list using our Excel template found hereno later than 48h before your event starts.

Setup & Check-in
Our open innovation space is a do-it-yourself space. Set it up so it best fits the needs of your event. You may need to provide a person to facilitate the security check-in with the building management. We will be onsite to answer your question and give a helping hand.

Everything needs to be put back in place. But don't worry: we will be on-site and show you where everything belongs.

Please set maximum tickets per registrant to one. Each guest must register individually and provide their name to be registered with security. Additionally, please add the following statement to your registration site:

Our street address is: 10 Hudson Yards, 10001 New York. You can enter our facilities at our street entrance at 30th St. and 10th Av. or from the Hudson Yards Plaza and Mall by walking south-west and following the signs to 10 Hudson Yards. Check in with a government-issued ID at the SAP security desk in the lobby to receive your security pass that you need to swipe through the turnstiles. Take the elevator to 48th floor (tap black screen on outside of elevator to select floor). Exit the elevator and walk to the "Leonardo Center" sign. Turn right at the "Leonardo Center" sign.

SAP Next-Gen Partnership Agreement

The SAP Next-Gen Partner agreement is for co-marketing and adds enabling access to openSAP courses, free online SAP product tutorials, and free trials and downloads of SAP software (certain terms and conditions apply; personal use, non-commercial; see section 5.6.)

It is aimed at partners such as startups, accelerators, tech community partners, venture firms, purpose driven institutions, non-profits, NGOs, and institutions which are focused on innovation with purpose aligned with the 17 UN Global Goals. Partners such as accelerators who enable their community members with learning content may now also share with their communities the learning resources from openSAP, free online SAP product tutorials, and free trials and downloads of SAP software for use among their community members (limited to personal, non-commercial purposes).
